Michael R. Bertschi



Mr. Bertschi graduated from Hofstra University School of Law in May, 1997. He successfully sat for the New York State Bar Examination in July, 1997, and was duly admitted to the New York State Bar in April, 1998. Prior to attending law school, Michael graduated from Binghamton University, attaining a bachelor’s degree in History.

Prior to joining Koehler & Isaacs, LLP, Mr. Bertschi practiced in diverse areas of law. He has represented clients in personal injury, matrimonial and criminal proceedings and has also represented corporations engaged in commercial litigation.

While at the firm of Vlachos & Torchio, LLP, Michael was the head of the firm’s Real Estate Division, representing both Purchasers and Sellers in connection with residential, condominium and cooperative transactions. This experience has allowed Mr. Bertschi to establish solid contacts with title abstract companies, mortgage lenders and insurance agencies, all of which are invaluable to the clients he represents.

Michael’s vast experience in the real estate field has well prepared him for his duties and responsibilities at Koehler & Isaacs, LLP. He is also knowledgeable in the areas of refinance and mortgage assumption, guiding his clients through the complexities of home finance.
