Naureen Rashid



Naureen Rashid received her J.D. in June 2002 from St. John’s University School of Law. At St. John’s, she was a staff member of the International Law Review and of the Real Property Law Journal. She also served as a member of the Executive Board of the St. John’s Black Law Students Association, where she helped to develop initiatives to further the interests of students of color.

Naureen’s legal background is varied prior to law school. She worked as a Legal Assistant in the Litigation Department of Heller Ehrman White & McAuliffe. During law school, she interned at the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Eastern District, in the Organized Crime Unit and also worked as a summer associate in the Legal Department at Pfizer, Inc. Additionally, she interned for the honorable Judge Arthur D. Spatt of the Eastern District of New York. Naureen developed an interest in litigation and public interest law while working at the St. John’s Elder Law Clinic. She is fluent in Urdu, Hindi, and Punjabi.
