This division is headed by attorney Mat Paulose Jr., who has received a number of awards for his publications and recognition for his litigation skills. At least one federal chief judge has referred in writing to his trial performance as "outstanding." In the past three years, he has obtained judgment or settlements in excess of 1.5 million dollars. In a recent federal fraud trial, he received a total award of more than $500,000. He leads the division to help clients "even the playing field" in all litigation matters.
